Marie-Thérèse COMBE

I was born in 1961
I live in Vacqueyras in Provence at Domaine la Fourmone where I'm a wine grower.
My life is divided between my family, my profession and now my painting.
The deciding factor which influenced me towards painting was no doubt the effect between the atmosphere and the surroundings
here : Provence.

I paint with a palate knife and in Acrylic.

I met André Martin in 2000, and since then I've learnt, suffered and created in his studio.

At the Domaine I work in an attractive studio at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the middle of the vines, bathed in sunshine and light unequalled anywhere else.
The intensity of colours seems to unite both the eccentricity of the Fauvist period and the frenzy of the impressionists.
